Alpha House - 1
" Give some support, get some socks!
Calgary Alpha House Society is a non-profit, charitable agency providing safe and caring environments for individuals whose lives are affected by alcohol and other substance dependencies.
Alpha House Society's work positively impacts the Calgary community by providing help to vulnerable citizens. In doing so, they divert individuals away from unnecessary uses of health care, criminal justice, and emergency systems by building relationships and connecting clients to more appropriate community resources.
Purchasing Plainsbreaker Apparel's custom Alpha House socks directly supports those in need by helping Alpha House continue to operate its Shelter, Detox, Supportive Housing, and Outreach programs, which all work to provide vulnerable men and women access to safe and caring environments 24/7.
By giving a little, you're helping a lot! Thank you for your support."

An item of clothing labelled GOTS must contain a minimum of 70% certified organic fibres. Organic fibres are natural fibres grown without the use of synthetic pesticides, insecticides, herbicides or GMOs. Organic agriculture is system that better sustains the health of ecosystems, soils and people.
OEKO-TEX
Standard 100 by OEKO-TEX is one of the world's best-known labels for textiles tested for harmful substances. If an item of clothing carries this label, you can be certain that every component has been tested for harmful substances and is harmless for human health.
DETOX
DETOX is a campaign launched by Greenpeace in 2011 with a goal to exclude hazardous chemicals from textile production.
Better Cotton Initiative (BCI)
The Better Cotton Initiative (BCI) is a global not-for-profit organization and the largest cotton sustainability program in the world. BCI exists to make global cotton production better for the people who produce it, better for the environment it grows in and better for the sector’s future.
